Guaranteed to make you feel fabulous!
The sunshine makes me feel good, and wearing these do too. These statement earrings will make any outfit pop, I love the way they frame the jaw line too. Comfortable to wear and extra secure as studs with butterfly backs.
Made using recycled 925 sterling silver, they measure 45mm in length, and 25mm in width. Also available in gold plate.
Behind the make
It's 6am, as most of Bristol sleeps, I sit on a bench at the top of the mound. No one else is up here, just me. It's my quiet place. I sit patiently waiting for the sun to rise and the city to wake whilst enjoying the last few moments of solitude. The faint hum of the M32 is drowned out by bird song. I feel still, calm and safe.
I was thinking about all the times I used to go up there in the morning when I was designing these. I didn't always go alone, I often dragged anyone I could to come and share it with me. I have so many beautiful memories of watching the sunrise and sunset. It's such a special time of day seeing the world light up or fade into darkness. I always get an overwhelming gratitude for the day that's about to start, or the one I've just experienced.
A spiritual reminder of rebirth, transformation and hope. A symbol of dark to light when times feel so hard, getting up feels almost impossible. Yet the sun always rises, beaming light into the world and reminding us brighter days are coming, that every day is a new day, a fresh start, a blank canvas. Yesterday is now firmly in the past, and tomorrow is yet to come. All we really have is this moment, right now, the present. A time to to harness the power we all hold within and tap into our inner sun that always shines on us.
I wanted to make something so I could always wear the sunshine, whatever the weather. Something statement that I could wear everyday, and for any occasion. The Sunburst was born!

Each piece is then sent to the Birmingham Assay Office to be stamped with my makers mark - PL, 925 for sterling silver, the anchor - to represent Birmingham Assay Office, and the year it was made (currently the letter y).
I always recommend keeping your jewellery in the box or cotton bag provided when not being worn to help keep your pieces looking their best. I also pack a small polishing cloth so you can spruce them up every now and then.
All my pieces come in a branded gift box which is made from FSC®-certified cardboard and water-based glue, the tap is made of grosgrain satin ribbon. The FSC® mark guarantees that all materials come from an FSC® forest, where no more wood is cut down than the forest can reproduce.
