As seen in the August issue of British Vogue.
Inspired by my love of music, the one constant in my life. It has been such a huge part of my existence since I was a tiny tot, it never fails to lift my mood or be there when I need it. No judgement, just a calm and reassuring space as I meander through life and all the emotions that come with it. It's my therapy, and has been my savior so many times over the years.
My early childhood memories of my Dad playing the guitar have stayed with me. It's an instrument that connects us, he bought me my first guitar for my 30th and I am still yet to find the time to pick it up any where near enough to get good. The collection is a nod to both of my parents, my Mum for supporting me for years whilst I learned the violin and my Dad for always giving me the encouragement to be free.

So many people I speak to share the same beautiful stories and reasons why they play the instrument they do, and I really wanted to create something that reflects this. This is my homage to the music.
As you can probably tell, the collection is inspired by the humble guitar pick. I'm a sucker for clean lines and sculptural shapes. I also love how unisex the design is, this is a collection to be worn by anyone, and everyone, just like the music.
Hand carved in wax, I then and use the ancient lost wax casting technique to turn them into silver. Each piece is hand finished and polished to a mirror finish.
The pendant comes on an 18" omega chain which looks just like a guitar string!
These pieces can also be made to custom specifications. If you love the design, but would like to discuss alternative metals, finishes, engraving or stone setting please get in touch and I would be happy to assist.
Each piece is then sent to the Birmingham Assay Office to be stamped with my makers mark - PL, 925 for sterling silver, the anchor - to represent Birmingham Assay Office, and the year it was made (currently the letter y).
I always recommend keeping your jewellery in the box or cotton bag provided when not being worn to help keep your pieces looking their best. I also pack a small polishing cloth so you can spruce them up every now and then.
All my pieces come in a branded gift box which is made from FSC®-certified cardboard and water-based glue, the tap is made of grosgrain satin ribbon. The FSC® mark guarantees that all materials come from an FSC® forest, where no more wood is cut down than the forest can reproduce. This means better protection of the animal- and plant life, and all foresters have proper training, safety equipment and a decent wage.
